I like looking back at the process of things. I promised that I would follow-up with a complete write-up on how the iPhone cases came to mind. Well, here it goes.

One of my favorite weekends in the biz and a GREAT way to kick off the year! The Art of Lax™ will be at the 2013 U.S. Lacrosse Convention in Philadelphia.
Drop the Hammer: To “legislate”. To crack down on a certain violation or injustice. (UrbanDictionary.com) I wanted to get a dramatic piece in by Thanksgiving, but definitely by the Holidays, at the latest. I was thinking of a defensive piece and I had one in mind from my personal list. Soon enough, a client got in […]
…As the lacrosse “war stories” came rolling on, he told me to wait and he ran down into his basement. Upon his return, he held in his hand a dyed STX Turbo lacrosse stick, with the town Pelham dyed on the lip, strung in a mesh “Ulman” pocket and fixed on a white, aluminum shaft.
The shirt honors the Creators of the game. Made with a distressed look and feel, it makes a great gift for the upcoming Holiday Season.

The ArtofLax is constantly in pursuit of new content, and wanted to revisit an “oldie but goodie”. Back in 2009, one of his most popular pieces was of a goalie, titled “The Guardian”… it’s coming back.
It’s hard to accomplish all the things on my list, but I decided in one week to focus, and complete a number of female-themed lacrosse images.
When mulling around for content, I did want all positions represented but when I thought about how a lacrosse game starts, I thought right away about, the Face-Off.
There have been times when random people drop suggestions from the multiple social media platforms that The Art of Lax™ is on. I listen to them!

Defending champions of the inaugural Salt Shakerz Tournament last year, Brooklyn Lacrosse Club returns to compete, once again. Let’s unveil the champs’ uniforms!
In mid-March, I made a new piece called “The Perfect Form” which had a similar look as my bestseller “Crank”. The image displayed is of a modern-day player, with a right-handed shot, arms away and level to the eyes. The actual purpose behind it was to make “The Perfect Form” better than “Crank”. As much […]
A full year after Memorial Day 2010, I got a call from a Duke parent regarding a custom order for his son’s 2012 graduation present. It was Duke’s LSM who scored the winning goal in overtime against Notre Dame back in 2010 – CJ Costabile.
Yesterday, I was organizing (more like cleaning up) my storage area. The feeling reminded me of an episode of “American Pickers” on the History Channel – searching and finding items, long and lost.
Back in 2009, my first international custom order was for a person located in Melbourne, Australia. He wanted a piece that depicted him “going in the air, across the crease, faking high and dunking the ball in-between the goalie’s legs…” He also said that he was going to get that image done on his leg as a tattoo!
Yesterday, at 1:00pm-eastern standard time, I turned in my 2-week notice at my advertising job. The Art of Lax™ & The Art of Athletes™ ventures have secured full backing, after almost 3.5 years since inception, it was time to go ALL IN!
The Art Of Lax’s newest installment for “The Perfect Form” series made me come back to the “Ol’ Skool” genre or “Retro” as it’s sometimes called.
