“A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves as something to aim at.” – Bruce Lee
When 2013 started, we knew that a new website was to be a major goal right away. But goals, manifestly plans, do change and a lot of unexpected things came up that halted and took us in a different direction – mostly for the better. Since then, we…
Sealed a major B2B partnership with a company suited for the modern world. Helped a well-known charity and their mission. We successfully broke into the Canadian-market and showcased in a couple of international tournaments and events. Exhibited in a number of gallery shows, both national and international. Sat down with a well-respected beverage company. Decorated a collegiate campus and football stadium in the elite, Big 10 Conference. Established another B2B partnership with a company that licenses to the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, among other professional sports. And, worked with two Tewaaraton Award winners, and a highly respected non-profit, grow lacrosse in NYC.
During all this, we also questioned the things, which are not working, and things, which are not needed, in the business. But still, the one goal that had to be met was a NEW WEBSITE. So what’s new?
We merged the parent company, The Art of Lax™, and the subsidiary, The Art of Athletes™ in one platform. We increased the number of product pages for a higher rate of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), as well as our links to social media sites. We added some interactive capabilities for our viewers to be educated and up-to-date on our products and business, overall. We also enabled a streamline way for our customers to shop and process their orders.
But to be honest, the goal of this website will never be met, because it will always be a work in progress. If there is a consistent goal in mind, it is to always make this a better experience for you – the customer.
