The Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse tournament turns 26 this week and 19-year tournament veteran, Stu-Funk, attends once again. My first attendance with the team was back in 2007. This year it will be my first time back in 4 years after taking time off with two kids that were born during the duration. To be back after 4 years, it was exciting to have our uniforms for this years Stu-Funk roster, be designed with imagery from The Art of Lax™.
Here are the uniforms for Stu-Funk:
Big props to our manufacturing partner, Evo9x Sportswear, who are based in Edison, NJ, for doing the uniforms in a two-week turnaround time. Evo9x Sportswear prides themselves with products that are 100% sourced and Made in the U.S.A. Need custom sublimated uniforms at a quick pace?… check them out.
Stu-Funk lacrosse is headed by Kevin “Derms” McDermott, who is in the Wesley College (DE) Hall of Fame. Our roster spans a diverse set of players, and carries a good number of members from the Brooklyn Lacrosse Club of the elite, American Lacrosse League, such as: Matt Ossola (Marist), and Stony Brook alums; Erich Hohlman, John Donnelly, Hunter Greene, among others.
If you’re in Placid look for those wearing true lacrosse art, both on and off the fields.
